The X10 Sentinel PTZ Security Camera gives you the options of setting up a wired or wireless system.
Both systems can be internet controlled.

Wireless:

The Sentinel communicates with its video receiver via 2.4 GHz signal, which can be disabled for wired solutions. The signal is then sent from the receiver to a video output device (a VCR, for example) through a video cable. The wireless option combines easy installation with portability and flexibility. It allows you to mount your camera in a hard to reach place without worrying about where to hide the cable, and is easy to move should you decide to place the camera elsewhere.

Wired:

We understand that our customers want the flexibility of being able to go wired or wireless. That's why all of the X10 Sentinel surveillance packages include a 100 foot video cable. Should your home or business require it, you have the freedom and capability to switch your system over to a wired connection. A wired option is best suited for those homes or businesses that need exceptional, consistent images as well added security. This can also be helpful when moving into a new house or building, for immediate surveillance before you decide where to permanently mount the camera.
