The X10 Sentinel Surveillance Camera has an iris, just like a human eye has an iris. When closed, the iris lets in a small amount of light, and then lets in much more when opened. Unlike the one in your own eye, the Sentinel's iris never closes, always allowing in the optimal amount of light to guarantee the brightest possible picture. The automatic iris in the X10 Sentinel ensures that the optimal amount of light gets through to the 14" image processor to capture professional quality images. This means that even in low light conditions, the Sentinel will still produce sharp, clear images.
As you Pan, Tilt and Zoom your Sentinel, the smart automatic Focus and Iris actively adjust everything so you see with all the brilliance and fine detail possible.
For those who like to play with their images, the X10 Sentinel also allows you to manually adjust the iris to achieve your desired results.

The X10 Sentinel PTZ Security Camera uses a 22x optical zoom to take clear, professional-quality images of your home or business. Its weather resistant dome makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor security surveillance. You have the option letting the Sentinel adjust focus and iris settings for you, or making manual adjustments with the remote control. For added reliability and security we've added a 100 foot video cable so you can set up your wired X10 system.
