Every Sentinel Motion Activated System includes at least two of our ActiveEye Motion Sensors, one for every camera you receive. These motion sensors work by electronically sensing physical movement in a given area, using infrared detection so they can operate day or night. You can set your motion sensor to turn on lights at night when activated, or even automatically turn on at dusk so you don't have to worry about making it to your doorstep in the dark. That's not all, though - you get all the great features of the ActiveEye Motion Sensors, plus the ability to save hours of tape and time by only recording video with your Sentinel when the motion sensors are activated.

With one ActiveEye Motion Sensor per camera, you have the ability to set up your sensors to work together and track movement, tripping your Sentinel cameras to record as they go. With a multiple camera security system, you may not have the time to check footage from every camera, but you still want a record of anything that happened while you weren't looking. Your Motion Activated System will let you have that, recording only when motion is sensed so you never have to waste hours looking through videotape just to see what you need to.

Its weather resistant dome makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor security surveillance. You have the option letting the Sentinel adjust focus and iris settings for you, or making manual adjustments with the remote control. For added reliability and security we've added a 100 foot video cable so you can set up your wired X10 system.
